Possibly: But not the infectious type the irritative, inflammatory type as some women are irritated by them or can even be allergic to them. Cervicitis means inflammation of the cervix.

Rarely: Spermicides may cause irritation in the vagina and theoretically irritate the cervix as well. See this site for more info in this topic. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/drug-information/dr602375.
