May not be fungus: If this skin change has not cleared up, it is best to revisit your doctor. Many skin conditions, most commonly psoriasis, can look like a fungus. Your doctor can have the lab examine some of the flakes under a microscope looking for fungus; if it is present, it may be resistant to the antifungal med prescribed. Sometimes a dermatologist's help is needed. Good luck!
