Probably not: Since a chalazion is a fluid collection as opposed to an infection (hordoleum, stye), antibiotics are not likely to help. Antibiotics could be considered if the fluid became infected. Amoxicillin may help but broader coverage could be considered. If you have not improved despite treatment, you should be evaluated by an eye surgeon.
