No sex: Certainly your doctor told you that while being treated for chlamydia you need to abstain from sex right? While the primary antibiotics for treating chlamydia are not on the list of those known to affect OCP it is still highly recommended to use back-up birth control whenever on any antibiotics. Antibiotics known to affect OCP: rifampin, penicillins, bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) tetracycline,metronidazole,minocycline
