Morning sickness: Unfortunately, this is an all to common occurrence in pregnancy especially in the first trimester. Things I have found helpful in my practice are: eating frequent small meals, having something like crackers before even arising from bed, drinking liquids whenever she can, vitamin B6 1/2 of a Unisom as needed up to 4 times a day. If these don't work then her OB can give her prescription medication

Morning sickness: Meals and snacks should be eaten slowly and in small amounts every one to two hours, avoid triggers i.e. stuffy rooms, odors, heat, humidity, noise, flickering lights, driving. Take prenatal vitamins before bed with snack. Electrical nerve stimulation over the wrist may help. Hypnosis has helped. Prochlorperazine, ondansetron and metaclopramide may have effects on fetus. check with your dr
