Variable: Both are imaging techniques and use X-ray. For lower extremities ultrasound has good technique and Noninvasive, and low risk! CHEST, ABDOMEN AND PELVIS MAY REQUIRE THE OTHER TECHNIQUES. MRI HAS SOME INDICATIONS AS WELL.
