Pain: The coughing may have affected your back.it may range from a muscle pull or strain , twisting of the joints in your pain or inflammation/compression of a nerve root. As long as there are no other ill effects rest your back, use heat and Ibuprofen to see if this resolves. And loss of your bowel and urine function and inability to use your legs or persistent pain should be seen by your doctor now.
