Very low: The failure rate from a tubal ligation is very low, but it is not zero. If you think you could be, it is never a bad idea to check one. Of the few that do get pregnant, many are in the Fallopian tube. This called an ectopic pregnancy and can be life threatening.

0.3%.: 1/300 women with bilateral tubal ligation can still get pregnant. Of the pregnancies that occur, the risk for ectopic is relatively increased but very low.
