Communication: There could be several reasons why sex is painful. The type of pain you have is also important to note. You may not have adequate lubrication, or you may not be aroused enough. Honestly, if you are close enough with this person to have sexual intercourse, you should be able to tell him about your discomfort. If may be something as simple as a bit more foreplay. Talk to him.
