Maybe: Breakthrough bleeding is very common when you miss a pill. It can look like pink staining. The cottage cheese appearance can be associated with other conditions such as a yeast infection. If there are no other symptoms, you could wait for the bleeding to stop and see if the discharge returns to normal. If you are itching, treat for yeast. If not, and it stays, get checked.
