Premenstrual blood: It could just be some premenstrual spotting and discharge. This is relatively common. However, if your period doesn't start or is very light and you are sexually active check a pregnancy test to see if that is the cause as it could be implantation bleeding. The cause other than infection could be you didn't ovulate this month and so no normal bleeding
