Enough fluids?: You should be able to roughly measure how much fluid you need by your urine. If your urine is very dark and foul-smelling, you are probably dehydrated. Sometimes this causes us to urinate less or not at all. If the urine is very clear, like water, and you go very often, you have more than enough fluid on board. When people have kidney disease or diabetes, these measures do not help as much.
