Depends: You can take too much vitamin D so it is important to have your level checked to determine if you need it and about how much you need. Most of my patient are very low in vitamin D. You are probably safe with 2000 iu per day of vitamin D3, but please get in to get your level checked - you may need more than that. Good Luck!

Current RDA: For your age the current RDA for vitamin D is 600 IU (15 mcg/day). Those with a known deficiency or other health conditions may need more, ask your doctor what is best for you.
