Abdominal pain: If the discomfort is in the midline of the upper abdomen, gastritis(inflammation of the stomach lining) May be the problem. Inflammation of the pancreas or gall bladder are less likely. Follow a bland diet, abstain from alcohol and caffeine,take prilosec and/or mylanta. See your physician if symptoms persist or if there is vomiting,severe tenderness or passage of black stools.
