Nerve interactions: I am guessing that your vision in between moments of anxiety is normal. The body is a wonderful, amazing network of interacting nerves and emotions. When you are anxious, there is commonly heightened sensitivity in a number of physiologic systems. It appears that your anxiety triggers focusing disturbance and changes in retinal sensitivity which causes the starbursts.
