Needs drainage: Also called abscesses, boils are collections of pus below the skin. To heal, the boil needs to drain this fluid. Sometimes this will happen on its own, but other times the fluid needs to be drained with a needle or an incision. Breast milk may help soften the skin over the boil, but it is not likely to cure it. She may need to see a doctor for antibiotics or drainage.
