Some reasons: When you're pregnant, you can have pain in several areas as your body adjusts, your uterus grows and your hormones change. However, if you're early and having consistent pain in your abdomen, or bleeding, you should have your doctor check you to make sure the pregnancy is normal and not ectopic (that is, outside your uterus).
