Lymphoma: Malignant lymphoma and infectious mononucleosis aren't hard for a skilled physician to tell apart but mistakes have been made. It's very rare at your age except in its form as Hodgkin's. You'll also probably feel a lot sicker with infectious mono. Hodgkin's won't give you the sore throat. Any doubt, get a consult. Cheers.
