Yes, it can happen: With a regular 28-day cycle, the more fertile days are around days 11-17 (August 30 would be day 17 in this case). One can just wait for the next menstrual period, since they are regular. If a normal period comes after September 10, then there is no pregnancy. If the period hasn't come by September 17, or if the period comes but does not look normal, then one can do a pregnancy test.
