Diarrhea???: You forgot the main symptom of enter overall infection---- ie GI symptoms. Anyway, testing for it will not change course of action and management. Sounds like some sort of viral infection ( even if not enterovirus!). All viral illnesses run 7-10 day course--- with or without treatment. Just keep yourself well hydrated.
