Return to your doc: You likely have an infection - probably a small abscess. Whenever the skin is "broken", it leaves the person vulnerable to infection from bacteria that is normally located on the skin. I am assuming that the wart was removed recently. Return to your doctor so it can be inspected, and it may possibly be treated with antibiotics and/or drained cleanly.
