No: BV is indeed likely. As long as you are not pregnant or planning vaginal surgery in the near future the are no severe risks to delaying treatment. Back has been shown to increase the risk of premature delivery, premature rupture of membranes, and infections after pelvic surgery. It will not go away by itself so you do need to get it checked out and treated at some point though.
