A member asked:

Can see if i could get off of zoloft, (sertraline) have me get a prescription of abiify instead huh? just wondering!

Depression: Lindsey, Abilify (aripiprazole) is an atypical antipsychotic medication that is used at low doses to usually supplement the SSRI's like Zoloft. So we usually add it to Zoloft to help with depression that is still not better with Zoloft. I recommend that you do in and discuss with your doctor your concerns about Zoloft, such as side effects, not working, etc. and see what you both would like to do.
