I just switched from the combined pill to the mini pill. is there any way to predict when i will get my first period on the mini pill?

No: The mini pill, or progestin only pill, has no placebo week. You are taking active hormone all months most women will have no bleeding on the mini pill. If you do bleed, it is usually light but unpredictable.
