A member asked:

Is it "safe" to use asmall amount poppers as an way to avoid the vasoconstrictive effects of cocaiine?

Nope: Realizing that this is a very interesting question (combining other drugs with cocaine being "safe"), I would highly caution against this. Cocaine not only causes vasoconstriction, but it greatly speeds up the heart rate. Poppers vasodilate the blood vessels via smooth muscle relaxation, causing an increase in heart rate. You run the risk of a tachyarrhythmia (high heart rate and funny rhythm).

It is unsafe: to use cocaine and adding poppers ( amyl nitrate ) is like putting fire on gasoline. This kind of activity may lead to cardiac fibrillation and death. Your life is in your hands .

No: In fact, it isn't safe to use cocaine. You are talking about mixing drugs, which can lead to dangerous overdose and even death. Please seek detox, rehab, or counseling to get help with your drug addiction issues. Hope this helps!
