Depends: It is very common for women to occasionally miss a birth control pill (men would probably miss a lot more). Missing one dose is usually not a enough to allow breakthrough ovulation, however the risk also depends on other factors, including where you were in your pill pack (worse if missing 1st pill of new pack), and pill dose. If u miss a pill again, take next morning or double up next evening.
