Cecon (ascorbic acid) drops: This is vitamin C and if you are breast feeding the baby is already receiving the right dose. Vitamin C is not a recommended supplement and as long as your baby is receiving 40 mg a day at his/her age that is adequate. Ask your doctor and check the concentration or the dosing of the vitamin.

See Your Doctor: 3 mos old takes "Cecon 2 drops"; is Ascorbic Acid (Vit. C). It is not known why you are giving your baby Vit. C. It is used to treat certain conditions such as Scurvy & more however it is not routinely given to normal, healthy infants. Vit. C has side-effects if improperly dosed & with certain conditions such as G6PD deficiency (common to your region). Do not use without a doctor's recommendation.
