No bleeding: The nature of depot provera is that women ideally do not get a menstrual period, while they are on Depot provera. This does not always work perfectly well. That is when women experience spotting or even an extended breakthrough bleeding. The possibility of a pregnancy causing the bleeding/ cramping always needs to be considered and acted upon accordingly. A doctor should be consulted.
