I was told i have a nevus in my eye. follow up in a year. how often do these become cancer? i think the dr said it was in the choroidal area?

Very rare: I have never experienced one becoming a cancer but it does happen. Ask your eye professional about the chance. If it is stable over several years, they won't watch it very closely after that.
