Sonogram: you should go and see a board certified GYN to perform a sonogram.Perhaps you have a cyst.

Ovarian cyst: The most common problem at our age is a cyst in the ovary so is the pain in the left pelvic area? Ovarian cyst usually occur in mid-cycle at the time of ovulation. Motrin 800 mg 3x/day is the best treatment. if they don't resove on their own they rarely require surgery. A doctor to schedule for an ultrasound to be sure. An abdominal examination and pelvic examination will clarify the issue
