Yes: If the egg is still available and there are sperm around you can conceive. I tell my patients using ovulation prediction kits to keep having regular sex after the positive surg to improve chances.

Yes: The "Rythem Method" is a way of preventing pregnancy by avoiding intercourse on fertile days. It has a failure rate (pregnancy rate) of around 20% a year. That is pretty high. Technically, avoiding the fertile window should avoid pregnancy but its notoriously difficult to get it exactly right. Best to assume pregnancy is possible anytime you have unprotected intercourse.
