Melatonin: is a natural, non-addicting hormone supplement that assists with sleep. Also Magnesium aids in calming the nerves and relaxing the muscles, which in turn can help patients to fall asleep. Both are available OTC. However, always talk to your doctor before starting any new prescription or over-the-counter medication or dietary supplement. Keep up a good job!

Opioid Withdrawal: It's likely that you are going through withdrawal from the methadone. After all, it is an opioid. The symptom will likely pass in time, but I'd recommend you discuss this with your doctor. There are medications that can help ease the withdrawal symptoms. Some people also benefit from doing some deep breathing and energy tapping to ease withdrawal.
