Does 1.25mg propecia (finasteride) work better if taken under the tongue?

No: Propecia (finasteride) is rapidly absorbed through the skin so it has a coating to prevent accidental exposure to women. It works better if taken regularly by swallowing at about the same time every day without missing any days. Sub lingual (under the tongue) does not improve its effects and may be harmful. Take it as prescribed.
