No danger: Shower. It is good for it. The cornea shares a nerve with the tip of the nose. If you have it on the forehead it is a different nerve. If you have eye symptoms or shingles on the tip of the nose, see an ophthalmologist. Shower and shampoo does NOT spread shingles. Pills for it, started on day 1 or 2, taken for a week, may shorten the course and reduce the symptoms.
