Scientists have isolated a constituent in cruciferous vegetables called Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C) that is especially beneficial to estrogen metabolism, increasing the “good”estrogen (2 Hydroxy) and decreasing “bad estrogen” (16 hydroxy).
