Why does it burn to pee after sex? it has always happened since i became sexually active.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

UTI and sex: You probably have a urinary tract infection (UTI). Women have a shorter urethra than men so it is easier for them to have a UTI after sex when bacteria enter the bladder. Try going to the bathroom to urinate as soon after sex as you can, to flush out any bacteria in your urethra, and you may be able to prevent future UTI's. Good luck.
