Any healthy diet: It is only true in the sense that a healthy diet improves your immune system and that a healthy immune system decreases the incidence of cancer. This is true of a healthy diet in any form. It is not specifically protective against cancer or other diseases, except that a source of vitamin A (carrots) benefits eye and hair health.
