A member asked:

How long will it take for my period to come back after stopping the progestogen only pill?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If you are not nursing and 6, or more, months after delivering a baby, then your period should resume 4-6 weeks after stopping a progestogen only pill. This time-frame also assumes you are not pregnant, you are not near menopause, you are healthy and your periods were regular before starting the pill in the first place.
