Genetics: Small hand size usually is a genetic trait. Do check out other members in your family as this may confirm inheritance. Congenital malformations do occur and the affected body part can be disproportionately small or large and can have other malformations in appearance. Diet deficiencies do not cause such a localized and specific attribute. See your doctor to examine your hands and for reassurance.
