This is OK: It is fine to use artificial tears while you are wearing contact lenses, and it is also fine to use drops when the lenses are out. You do not really need to use a special "contact lens" artificial tear - most commercially available OTC artificial tears are compatible with contact lenses, except for the gel drops and drops that simulate the outer oil tear layer such as Soothe or Systane balance.

Should be OK: Just remember that any irritation or redness in the eyes may be sign of irritation, inllammtion or infection due either to contact lenses or its solution. If that happens, you should immediately remove contact lenses and get yourself checked by your doctor if you dont see relief of symptoms in a day or so.

Depends: If they are extended wear contacts designed for that much wear each day, should not be problem. If not, can you take them out when you should, and wear glasses? Moisturizing eye drops are ok, but it is oxygen that your eyes need and why wearing lenses too long can be harmful to your eyes. Hope this helps. Best of luck. Dr R
