Moisturizers: Keeping the skin well hydrated can help. After bathing only drip dry, and then moisturize the skin well. Crisco shortening can be used to seal in the moisture, but commercial products are less messy. I like eucerin cream in the large jar.

Lubricate: Wash with a soap which is good for dry skin such as dove or eucerin or aveeno (oatmeal). Immediatly after washing rub in something with ceremides such as eucerin or cereve or aveeno (oatmeal) eczema care. If you still have itch see a dermatologist.
