Acidity: Does it persist throughout the entire day, does it come and go, does it improve or worsen with food are questions your doctors will ask you. Bottom line, it shouldn't persist for that long unless you are having increased acidity secondary to acid indigestion or possibly GERD. To see if acidity is the culprit, try to take an antacid like Zantac (ranitidine) 150mg, if that doesn't help follow up with your Doctor
