A member asked:

Are hormonal changes in total weight and fat distribution reversible with reestablishing healthy levels?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Question unclear: Not sure what you're asking, but if someone gets weight down to a healthier level, there are many hormonal and other benefits. Insulin levels do down, lipid profile improves, inflammatory markers improve, etc. So yes, weight loss can reverse many unhealthy changes in the body. That's why we urge people to cut calories and lose weight!
