Get pregnancy tested: I don't understand your question about wanting to get periods but missing a period can certainly be a sign of pregnancy and subsequent bleeding later could well be a miscarriage. There are other potentially serious complications that can occur with early pregnancy so thats the first thing your doctor will want to determine. Even if not pregnant, irregular periods should be investigated.
