It should: When you eat there is a normal increase in bowel motility to in effect make room for the incoming food. The rumbling is the sound of the previous meals moving down the line. If not used to larger meals the stretch of your stomach to accommodate the food may also feel uncomfortable. Gas can also be produced by digestion and "hurt a bit". It may take awhile, but keep working on getting healthier!

Yes: your stomach is healing and often there is not enough enzymes or acid in the stomach so the food ferments causing the problem keep on a good diet with fiber and may need pancreatic enzymes or more acid in your diet like fruit or apple cider vinegar It will heal
