Progesterone: Depending on where you are in your cycle when you take Plan B, you can have bleeding after taking this medication, so bleeding and/or spotting can be normal reaction to it. Having said that, it can also throw off the timing of your normal cycle. Make sure if you don't want to become pregnant that you use protection, because you may not know what your normal cycle is like for 6-8 weeks. Best luck

Plan B: Most pills used for pregnancy prevention have a high dose of estrogen. This is probably why you are spotting. This should resolve and your regular period should come. For your own piece of mind you may consider a pregnancy test.
