Depends: "Discharge" or secretions will vary depending on the situation. Normal secretions do not usually carry a foul odor and can be clear, whitish, or even cream colored. The consistency can be anything from really thin, to stringy and even goopy. Penile discharge other than precum should be evaluated for possible infection. Vaginal discharge other than as above should also be evaluated for infection.
