Agree w Dr. Amico: Generally, If one were to consistently wear a condom and to use it correctly - the reliability rate for preventing pregnancy can be up to 98%. With less attention to details - the efficacy can drop to around 85%. Add to these statistics that you are 47 years old and the risk would be very low.
