Can pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) and/or cranberries kill helicobacter pylori?

No: Unfortunately they have not been shown to kill the h.pylori bacteria. It is a strong bacteria that needs the right course of treatment, usually what is called "triple therapy".

Yes: Pepto-bismol is part of a quadruple antibiotic therapy used in treatment of H.pylori and the regular consumption of cranberry juice has been found by research to suppress the infection in communities.
