A member asked:

Will a first response pregnancy test give you an accurate result 37 days after intercourse?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Long enough for sure: If you are pregnant 37 days after intercourse, any reliable test (urine, blood) will show a positive result. Urine usually is reliable after 1 week and blood is usually reliable after 3 days. There are rare exceptions (usually seen on TV specials) but that may be due to incorrect testing methods. Good luck.
